Welcome to the Atheist Link Center. This is your source for links to thought, discussion and quotes supporting atheism, blasphemy, and the rejection of religion. These sites are run by atheists, agnostics, and those who have soured on the various religions of the world.
I am against religion because of all the harm it does to individuals and to different societies. Religion is a way of surrendering one's mind to the collective. It leads to intolerance and often violence against people and groups with differing beliefs. The best way to fight religion is with knowledge and unity. I list established atheism sites as well as personal webpages by atheists and skeptics who discuss their religious views on their sites. Collectively these sites feature resources, discussion, quotes, personal experience and humor.
I also list sites of celebrities who are atheists or who are critical of religion. I list celebrity sites where the website discusses atheism or problems with religion or pokes fun at religion whether it is the celebrity's official homepage or a fan site.
There are links to some controversial sites (George Carlin, The Door Magazine, Dr Simmons Twisted Homepage) as well as less controversial sites (The Secular Web, Positive Atheism, Nathaniel Branden) listed. Some of these sites may be sarcastic or downright insulting to religion. Some use profanity in talking about religion or other topics. Some of the celebrity or personal websites have significant amounts of content not related to the topic of religion. There is a wide variety of sites here; so you should be able to find what you are looking for. I am glad to be able to provide these links to you. You may link to this page if you want.
Atheism and Anti-Religion Sites
The Secular Web - A comprehensive atheist site. You can get news about religion and more here.
Positive Atheism - Another comprehensive site. There is a lot of material, some of it complex and academic. This site features negative quotes from the evil Jerry Falwell and other religious fanatics.
Atheist Alliance - This is a site with philosophy, humor and more related to atheism and secular humanism.
The Door Magazine - The Door Magazine is a bimonthly magazine with biting parody and satire on religious topics. There are also cartoons featuring religious humor. The humor is often controversial.
The Infidel Guy - The Infidel Guy has an audio show on the web which discusses atheism.
Atheistparents.org - This site encourages parents to raise their children without religion.
Anti-Pat Robertson / Christian Coalition Site - Pat Robertson is a very intolerant theist who has too much power. This site wants to take away his power. Some of his infamous quotes are listed here.
Atheist Foundation of Australia Inc - This site features an extensive collection of essays supporting atheism and countering theism. There is some religious cartoon humour and a list of atheist books. This site also features many quotes from atheists and religious skeptics.
The New Zealand Association of Rationalists & Humanists - This organization has been serving the non-religious community since 1927. This site supports voluntary euthanasia. This site also has many resources for religious non belivers in New Zealand and elsewhere.
The Official Site of the Agnostic Church Ezine - This site is for those who do not like to have beliefs pushed on them without explanation. The site has lots of links and a page with religious jokes. It also has a message board.
Books for Atheists - This site lists books about atheism or challenging religion by various authors including George Smith.
The Three Asses of Free Thought - This site features humor, sarcasm, quotes, philosophy, jokes, and more.
Secular Humanism - The webmasters of this site seek the advancement of secular humanism through research, education, social activities, rationality, and morality.
Biblical Errancy - This site takes issues with many ideas of the bible. The bible is quoted and disected extensively.
Church of Reality - This is a "church" based on reality instead of organized religion. This site wants to encourage all to become free thinkers.
Atheists.com - This site features opinion, news, information and quotes related to atheism. They even have a section for single atheists to meet other single atheists.
Celebrity Sites
George Carlin - This is the official website of foul mouthed comedian, George Carlin. He will give you his opinion on various topics including religion and cussing. He doesn't have much good to say about religion. Warning - profanity. He goes into detail about his favorite cuss words.
Ayn Rand Institute - This is a comprehensive site about Ayn Rand who has written extensively about freedom, free markets, and clear thinking. This Russian born philosopher founded the Objectivist movement. Ayn Rand wrote several books including The Fountain Head, Atlas Shrugged, and The Virtue of Selfishness.
Nathaniel Branden - This is the official website of philosopher psychologist, Nathaniel Branden, who played a significant role in the development of objectivism with founder, Ayn Rand. Branden has been a firm atheist since the age of twelve and is committed to reason rather than mysticism and superstitious thinking. He has written many books and essays on philosophy and psychology. Much of his site and many of his more recent writings are focused on the development of self esteem.
Salman Rushdie - Salman Rushdie is a controversial author whose book, Satanic Verses, caused a bit of an uproar in the muslim community. Iran placed a bounty on his life after the book was released in 1989. The site is not run by Rushdie himself, but rather by someone interested in his writings. The site features descriptions of his published books and links to other relevant information about Salman Rushdie.
Paula Poundstone - Paula Poundstone is a funny comedienne who is great at improvising. Paula Poundstone is no longer associated with this site, but it still has information about her. The site also has a lot of her humor writings including her answers to e-mails sent to her.

Atheist Manifesto - The webmaster of this page has formulated a list of reasons for not believing in religion.
Why I am an Atheist - The webmaster of this site challenges theistic arguments. There are challenges to causal arguments as well as challenges to arguments of authority.
Lexin's Atheist Site - Lexin talks about several problems with religion including denying responsibility for one's actions.
Derrick's Atheism Page - A former christian discusses many problems with the bible.
Agnostic Atheism - The webmaster classifies himself as an agnostic atheist. The site lists famous quotes.
Jolly Jehovah's Bedtime Bible Atrocities - The webmaster has a lot of criticism and sarcasm directed at the bible. Passages of the bible are quoted and then disected critically.
Database of Gods Worth Rejecting - Rejection of different conceptions of gods. The webmaster uses philosophical arguments against commonly misheld religious ideas.
Cristos Jesus Cartoons - This site features humorous but potentially offensive cartoons of Jesus on the cross. This site is not for the squeamish.
Casey's Page of Atheism - This site features essays, humor and more relating to atheism. The site has a list of reasons why sex is better than religion.
Dr Simmons Twisted Homepage - Humor and satire from an atheist. Dr Simmons created parody pages of religious figures such as God, Jesus Christ, Noah, and Jerry Falwell. He doesn't have anything nice to say about catholic priests. His site focuses on non religious issues too. Warning - profanity.
Glenn the 3rd - Glenn features cynicism against religion, Noah's ark, and the bible.
It's The End Of The World As We Know It - The webmaster of this site goes into extensive detail about end of the world cults. She isn't very enthusiastic about apocalyptic prophecy. It's past 2000, but the armageddon hasn't arrived yet. Maybe it never will.
Bernhard's Atheism Page - Reason, science, and fact should be accepted instead of religion.
Jesus of the Week - This site features a weekly profile of a ridiculous jesus product. The webmaster has biting, sarcastic comment about each jesus product.
The Chestnut Tree Cafe - This angry atheist talks about the problems he finds with faith, religion, christianity, and the bible. The site features a top ten list of reasons why beer is better than religion.
The Closet Atheist - This site discusses various religious issues from an anti religious perspective including: evolution, homosexuality, free will, creationism, and morality.
Tales of the Antichrist - The webmaster sees christianity as a sickness. Atheism, in contrast, is seen as informed awareness and enlightenment. Morality is a matter of right and wrong and not obedience to any deity.
Jraxis.com Atheism - This site features personal opinion, links, and quotes. It also features "The God Simulator".
The Garden of Atheism - The webmaster of this site is activism minded and wants all atheists to stand up and be heard. Her ultimate goal is the eradication of religion.
The Heretical Reader - This heretical atheist discusses reasons against religion. The webmaster lists thoughts on the topic by famous skeptics and atheists including Thomas Jefferson, Carl Sagan, Thomas Paine, George Santayana, and Clarence Darrow.
